Gyurjyan Wines makes exclusive natural amphora wines in Armenia. Fermentation and ageing happen in clay vessels — Armenian karas and Georgian qvevri — without additives and without filtration.
Clay vessels give the wine time, texture and a clear expression of grape and land. This is an ancient method used in Armenia and Georgia for centuries. At Gyurjyan Wines it is the core of the winery, not a side experiment.
